For unaccomppanied children under 5 years of age LOT offers a special assistance (paid service). Parents or guardians are obliged to secure assistance for children aged under 5 traveling on their own. LOT Polish Airlines offers an additional assistance service to its passengers. An additional flight attendant accompanies the child from the check-in at the airport to the delivery of the child to an authorized person at the destination.

We also a special assistance for children aged from 5 to 12 (paid service). Children aged from 5 to 12, traveling alone require in-flight care. The care is provided by a member of LOT Polish Airlines flight crew and members of ground personnel. Parents or guardians whose children are traveling on their own are required to complete the document "Air Carrier Care Order", which is available from LOT Polish Airlines offices or directly at the check-in desk.

Additional information:

Young people aged from 12 to 17 may travel alone. Upon a special request from parents or guardians ,such passengers may travel under supervision of a member of flight crew. Assistance will be arranged in thesame way as for children aged from 5 to 12.

Hereby inform you that starting from now, even if the law already took place in 2009, children under 14 travelling alone, with umnr service or not, must present at check-in a declaration signed by both parents issued by any police office in Italy.
