Special services

Special assistance for children under 5 years of age (paid service)
Parents or guardians are required to provide additional care to children aged under 5, who travel on their own. LOT Polish Airlines offers an additional assistance service to its passengers. An additional flight attendant accompanies the child from the check-in at the airport to the delivery of the child to an authorized person at the destination.

Special assistance for children aged 5-11 (paid service)
Children aged 5-11, traveling alone, require in-flight care. The care is provided by a member of LOT Polish Airlines flight crew and members of ground personnel.
Parents or custodians whose children are traveling on their own are required to complete the document"Air Carrier Care Order", which is available from LOT Polish Airlines offices or directly at the check-in desk.

ATTENTION! Young people aged 12-17 may travel alone. Upon a special request from parents or custodians, such passengers may travel under custody of a member of flight crew. Care will be arranged in the same way as for children aged 5-12.

Special assistance for a person who needs special care (included)
Free-of-charge additional assistance provided by a member of ground service personnel can be ordered for passengers who need special care (e.g. elderly persons).

Other additional services
Passengers traveling with a baby to/from the US and Canada (aircraft Boeing 767 only) may order, at the time of booking, a cradle, which is installed on board the plane. Babies up to 6 months of age and up to 10 kilograms can use the cradle.

LOT Polish Airlines also offer free transport from the check-in desk to the plane on a wheelchair. For a disabled passenger who needs to travel in a lying position, a stretcher can be ordered, which is installed on board (Boeing 767 and 737). A stretcher-bound passenger has to be accompanied by a physically fit person. The transport of a disabled person on a stretcher is subject to an additional charge. Such service must be requested at least 72 hours prior to departure.

Pregnant women and other Passengers whose health condition requires doctor's approval for air travel

Pregnant women and other Passengers whose health condition requires doctor's approval for air travel need to have the following MEDIF document filled out.
