ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY OF LOT POLISH AIRLINES S.A.

LOT Polish Airlines S.A., as a socially responsible company that places a particular importance on issues of environmental protection, has established this policy in order to define our environmental commitments and objectives in regard to parties interested in care for the natural environment.

Bearing in mind our policy of sustainable development, in which the good of the customer, economic development, environmental protection, and community activities are the key elements, LOT Polish Airlines S.A. is committed to continual improvement of the company’s activities in the field of environmental protection.

We declare our intention to minimise our impact on the environment by:

1. Proceedings in accordance with the applicable laws and standards of environmental protection and with the internal regulations of the company;
2. Limitation of the use of aviation fuel through continual improvement and implementation of procedures concerning airline operations in the take-off, cruising, and landing cycles.
3. Reduction of the emission of greenhouse gasses through ongoing fleet modernisation and the implementation of environmentally friendly technologies.
4. The conduct of a rational waste policy within the company through proper segregation of used operational materials, equipment, and packaging as well as efforts to reuse them when possible;
5. Limitation of the use of paper, water and electric and heat energy through the use of best practices and implementation of new solutions;
6. Minimisation of the amount and environmental impact of the cleaning materials and chemical products we use;
7. Raising the environmental awareness of all employees and their commitment to the application of the principles of environmental protection on a day to day basis;
8. Promotion of pro-environmental behaviours among our clients, suppliers, and subcontractors by increasing their awareness of environmental responsibility and the spreading the use of specific acts to protect the environment.

The content of this policy is publicly available and has been communicated to every employee of the organization.
